Kuma River Boat Tour
A traditional boat journey — a river experience for all five senses
Watching the boatman skillfully dodge huge rocks with a single pole and navigate the choppy river is truly a sight to behold! The sound of the boat cutting through the water along with the boatman's calls, and the timeless scenery unchanged from the good old days, will make you forget your everyday life. Seen from close to the water's surface—quite different from the view from the riverbank—Hitoyoshi's townscape and scenery feel somehow nostalgic and warm. Why not enjoy a leisurely stroll on the river and experience that special charm that is uniquely Hitoyoshi?
